This was actually a bit similar to Guilty Pleasures, the only other book I've read by this author. It was cute, but I was thrown out of the story at the end and couldn't really recover. sex scene spoiler here: They were getting busy in the kitchen, and he sends her up to the bedroom to get the condom. (um, the hell? Go get it your damn self, asshole!) She does, but has all these weird foreboding feelings, then runs back down for an extended food sex session, which culminates with her grabbing his naked penis, and jumping him and having condomless!!! sex. I read it like three times to be sure, and was waiting for the big scene where they realize the grave lapse of judgement, or her pregnancy or whatever. Nope, just end scene, carry on, lalalalustbunnies. I kept waiting for it to be brought up because it was so telegraphed. But no. LLG forgot to put on the damn condom.
