Some Kind of Fairy Tale
I wanted this to be darker, scarier, more mysterious, and creepier. Certain parts had that foreboding: one image in particular, involving Jack's memories as a 2 year old in the forest made me shiver, and I got all excited and creeped out. But it just wasn't that kind of book; it didn't scratch that itch like I thought it would. I loved the epigraphs though - something I usually skim.
