Not usually a fan of second chance marriage theme, and I nearly gave up after the first few chapters, as the author was a bit too convincing in her portrayal of the hard to reach heroine. But the setting was great, and the eventual deepening of characters and motives hooked me but good.edited to add: loved this even more after a reread.
